The Lumu Defender API offers a framework to help you leverage the value of existing investments by integrating Lumu’s real-time information on confirmed compromise instances with your existing cybersecurity stack to unify and automate mitigation and remediation.

For scenarios where you have specific requirements that are not yet available through the preconfigured out-of-the-box integrations, you have the possibility to set up integrations via API to connect Lumu in the way that best suits your needs. The Defender API settings are available from the Lumu Portal and allows endless possibilities of integrating with blocking lists, firewalls, SIEMs and far more.

Lumu Integrations are available to all subscription tiers; however, some limitations apply to Lumu Free and Lumu Insights customers. Lumu Defender customers can enjoy the full power of our integrations. To learn more, refer to the pricing section on our website and our offerings article.

Defender API Setup

Bear in mind that our Out-of-the-box App integrations are the preferred way to integrate third-party solutions in your security stack with Lumu, and we recommend using them over their Custom - Defender API counterpart whenever possible.

The Lumu Defender API is based on HTTP requests and JSON responses and allows endless possibilities to integrate Lumu with blocking lists, firewalls, SIEMs and far more. The company’s unique API key is found in the Integrations' area of the Lumu Portal and is managed by company administrators.
